Home Entertainment and other Lighting systems
Maybe
you’ve got an interest in home entertainment systems ? Home Cinema,
Multi-room audio, video distribution are all things that you may be considering
for your home – or perhaps you already have them. How does this fit
together with Sensible Heat’s offering ?
We are not specialists in home entertainment systems – but we know lots of people who are ! We are well used to working alongside audio-visual specialist companies to deliver integrated, whole-house solutions. Talk to us to find out how you can avoid ending up with an over-complex, difficult-to-use house. Home Automation is supposed to make life easier, not more complicated !
Similarly, you may have already installed, or decided to invest in, a sophisticated Lighting Control system. There may be an opportunity to integrate the Hometronic system with the Lighting system so that you can, for instance, control your heating from some extra buttons on the lighting keypads. This will depend upon which system you have chosen – speak to us about compatability.
Maybe you are considering a whole-house touchscreen control system (such as AMX or Crestron) to bring together all of the disparate systems in your house ? No problem; using the Data Interface developed by Sensible Heat, it is easy for your supplier to integrate the systems controlled by the Hometronic system with other systems so they can all be viewed and adjusted from the touchscreens.
Other things that need controls
We’ve taken care of the major systems within
the house; heating, lighting, security, etc – but what about the odd
miscellaneous thing that needs switching on and off ?
For instance, a garden irrigation system, or a water feature ? The versatile Switch Module can be used in several different ways to switch on miscellaneous items of equipment on a timed basis, or on the basis of a Hometronic Lifestyle, or when a button is pressed.
- The irrigation system could, for instance, be switched on for a timed period every day, but only when you are away.
- The water feature could be turned on manually, using the Wireless Remote Control, but turned off automatically every night at midnight
The possibilities are endless !
